My sweet little babe made her appearance in July, making me a new mama, and I would have to say being a mom is the best thing yet! Although, before we get started with the nursing wardrobe must haves here is a picture of my darling little babe Oaklynn Renee! I might be a little biased, but I don't think she could be any more perfect!
I did a lot of online shopping before she made her appearance. You know those new mom things where you buy every single baby item, just in case you might need it. Although, if there is one thing I am glad I bought plenty of, it would have to be nursing tops/tanks/bras! I use these items EVERY SINGLE DAY!
You may think that you can't be stylish while nursing, but that is definitely not the case! So, today I am going to share with you my favorite nursing wardrobe must haves, making you a comfortable and stylish mama!

Nursing Wardrobe Must Haves
Do It All Nursing Tank- These are an absolute must in my opinion. I first off bought two of them and ended up buying three more because they are that comfortable. They are long, which I love, and they have enough give for those postpartum bodies. The clasps are also easy to get undone, so no struggling. Throw these on under a cardigan or jacket for a perfect and comfortable nursing outfit.
Nursing Swing Tank- So So soft. Perfect for night time, as you can place your nursing pads in the shelf bra. Because nobody likes wearing bras constantly! This tank is also loose and flattering around the midsection, making it essential for those days right after baby. Wear this tank under a cardigan for that stylish mama look.
Button Up Thermals or Flannels- Both of these options come in several colors. I not only love that thermals and flannels are stylish and nursing friendly, but you can also wear them when you are not nursing.
Nursing Tee 1 and Nursing Tee 2- Both of these shirts come in several colors. This will be one of the most versatile pieces of your wardrobe. Nursing action can vary from pull-up access or pull-down access, making it extremely easy for the baby to nurse. I love that these shirts are not tight on the belly or chest and how they don't look like a nursing t-shirt. Although, I would have to say my favorite part about these shirts was that I am able to nurse in public discreetly without having to have a nursing cover also.
Nursing Sweater 1, 2, and 3- All of these sweaters come in multiple colors. I cannot say enough good things about these sweaters! They are so so soft and so cute! I love how comfortable and cozy they are especially during these fall months. Wear these with leggings to lounge around the house or to run those mama errands. The zippers aren't showy and they are the perfect size to discreetly nurse. I am so glad that I found these sweaters that are cute, comfortable, and the best part efficient!
Nursing Dress- Ladies, you can never go wrong with a nursing dress! These are a must for weddings or any special events. I wore this dress to several weddings this past summer and fall and it was absolutely freaking PERFECT! There is no going to the bathroom stall and having to pull your dress completely up or trying to pull a tight chested dress over, in order to feed your baby. You can not only wear this dress when nursing, but you can also wear it during your entire pregnancy, for maternity photos, and even years after pregnancy and nursing! This dress is also so comfortable and so soft! No need to search for any other nursing/maternity dress! This dress comes in multiple colors and ¾ sleeves also!
Nursing Bralette 1, 2, and 3- I have searched high and low for bralettes that actually have some support, and I have finally found a couple. You can wear these pretty little things out and about, while being comfortable, supportive, and sexy! These bralettes are also just as easy as the clip bras as you can just push the cups out of the way. The best part is you can wear these bralettes when done nursing as well! Wear these under a cozy basic tee or under a nursing swing tank. These come in multiple colors.
Cardigan 1 and 2 - Cardigans, ALL of the CARDIGANS. Cardigans are perfect for nursing during any season! Wear these pretty little things over a nursing tank, in order to make nursing easily accessible. You can also use them as a nursing cover if need be. The best part is you can wear cardigans from season to season and they do not have to be nursing specific!
Pajamas- Omg, this pajama set is heavenly and is SOOOO soft against the skin! The shorts are loose and the top is button up for easy nursing access. I can't recommend these enough. Definitely hands down my favorite pair of pajamas!
Nursing Bras- Nursing bras are one item that you ABSOLUTELY need when it comes to nursing! You will most likely wear one every single day. The clips make it so easy and functional when nursing. These bras are a comfortable nursing bra that can be easily used during night feedings, but they are also supportive enough to wear out! They come with padding in case you need the extra coverage, but the padding is also easily removable. The extenders are also perfect for those mamas that are in between sizes and need that extra give. These bras come in packs of 3 and in additional colors.
Poncho 1 and 2- Ponchos are the perfect nursing item to throw on and look put together. Wear a nursing tank underneath and you have the perfect easy and accessible nursing wardrobe. The best part about ponchos is that they act as a nursing cover also!
How to Style Ponchos
Don't forget about those breast pads, and my absolute favorite item when it comes to pumping, the hands free pumping bra. This makes pumping sessions so much easier, as you don't have to sit there holding the suction cups to your breasts.
I hope these nursing wardrobe must haves help all of you mamas feel more comfortable while nursing, like they did for me!
