Tazz Toys Children's Teepee Review: The Best Children's Teepee
Hey y’all, today I wanted to share with you the cutest kids Teepee tent! And guess what mamas/dads this tent would make for the perfect Christmas present. I mean it is just right around the corner. Also, not only is it good for toddler aged children, it is great for kids up to twelve!
Alright, so now lets get started on all of the reasons why I love the Tazz Toys Teepee!
WHY I LOVE THE CHILDREN'S TAZZ TOYS TEEPEE
Easy Set Up Teepee Tent
One of my main reasons for loving the Tazz Toys Teepee tent was how easy it was to put together. Literally took me maybe twenty to thirty minutes from start to finish.
Step 1: When putting together, decide where you want it set up and make sure you have extra room as the poles tend to get quite long when assembled.
Step 2: Assemble the poles. You will need 1 top part (the wooden piece with the hole), 2 middle parts (narrow on both ends for connectors to be screwed to), 1 bottom part (no hole and smooth end), and 3 of the plastic connectors.
Now screw the connectors to the narrow ends of the wooden poles. And then to the top and bottom portion of the poles, so now you just have one long pole. Repeat this process 3 more times, so you have 4 poles.
Step 3: Now you will be placing the poles inside the sleeves of the canvas. To make things easiest, spread out the canvas so the sleeves form a line. Start from the top of the canvas and begin sliding the poles inside the sleeves. Make sure you start by sliding the bottom end (no hole) of the pole through the canvas first. Repeat until all 4 poles are inside the canvas sleeves.
Step 4: Lift the entire canvas and place it standing up on the floor. On top of the canvas there are two ropes tied to the canvas. Hint: the ropes are on the inside of the canvas. They are not the two small ropes on the outside of the canvas (used to tie up the window coverings). It took me a few minutes to find the ropes, so save yourself some time and look on the inside of the canvas first. Put each of the ropes into two of the closest holes (holes on the top of the wooden poles sticking out of the top of the canvas). Tie the ropes around the poles very loosely and spread out the base of the tent.
Once you have the base spread out, carefully untie the ropes, leaving them in the holes. Pull on the ropes, tightly, which will bring the canvas higher. You may have to pull on the canvas a bit as well to help it stay up. The canvas should be a few inches away from the holes at the top of the poles. Tie the ropes around again, this time tightly, and spread out your base again.
Step 5: The next part is when the stability balls come into play. The stability balls will be placed under and on top of where the poles meet. Undo the wing nut and remove the top ball. Next you will be placing the bottom ball with the long screw (from the inside of the tent) all the way up, so the top of the screw is sticking out between the poles. Place the top ball onto the screw and tighten with the wing nut.
Step 6: Now this is the FUN part! Decorations! One of the best parts about this teepee is that some decorations are already included! Place the fairy lights and gold glittered feathers wherever you prefer! These already included decorations are definitely something that sets this teepee apart from others!
Add any other decorations that are desired. This could include birthday banners, name banners, wreaths, ribbons, flowers, or you can even hang baby toys, to be used for stimulation, from the inside of the teepee!
Be sure to toss in a couple pillows/stuffed animals to make things extra cozy!
Compact and Easily Transportable
With the tent being easy to set up, it is just as easy to take down and transport. Want to to take it outside, to the beach, to grandparents house, etc for the weekend, easily take town the tent in a couple minutes and set back up in no time! It also comes with a compact drawstring backpack style carry bag, in order to easily transport.
Safe Non-toxic Design
In order to give your kids a fun and safe play environment, Tazz Toys made sure to use safe and quality products. The tent was independently lab tested for a child safe safety certificate 0-12 by CPSIA. The canvas is also made out of 100% natural,breathable, non-toxic, unpainted cotton. The tent poles contain no chemicals or splinters and are made out of sturdy pine.
Detailing
Tazz Toys Teepee contains two windows with closing flaps, unlike other teepees containing one or none. My daughter loves to play peek-a-boo out of these! And on the inside are not just one, but two double pockets for your kiddos favorite toys, stuffed animals, books, etc.
Waterproof Base
In my opinion, when searching for a teepee, this is a must! And I can tell you several other kids teepees do not contain a waterproof base. If your kiddos are anything like my daughter they are prone to spilling something here and there. So what better than to protect your carpets, than a waterproof base? If taking to the beach or out on the grass, the waterproof base also aids in keeping the inside nice and dry!
And if the canvas needs freshened up, don’t be afraid to toss in the washer and dryer!
Ages 0-12
Not only is this tent great for toddler aged kids, its great for kids all the way up to 12! Like stated before, hang some baby toys from the inside of the teepee, to be used for stimulation. Allow your toddlers imagination to run wild! Can make for the perfect bedroom setup for those kids transitioning to a big kid bed. Or transform it into a reading nook for those school aged kids!
Go On an Adventure
Whether it takes them to the beach, on a safari, camping in the woods, or to a castle, let your little ones imagination run wild!
